I am not at all knowledgeable on these drugs and side effects they can endure. There are so many different drugs out there for this disease, but what is the right choice? Doctors push for the Prolia. Since studying this drug and reading blogs, this doesn’t quite sound to be the drug of choice.

How long did you have the pain in your legs after you got off the Prolia? None of the doctors agree with the side effects of Prolia. I saw the side effects on Google and read a lot of people having the side effects on here. I'm off of it for now, but the shots in my back didn't help and my pain management doctor doesn't think its from the Prolia. I know that Prolia is attacked a lot because of the side effects.

After suffering terrible side effects from Prolia I got off after one injection-then my endocrinologist put me on actonel once a week and I now have a swallowing reflux problem-even after stopping it a couple of months ago. Ive had 3 Prolia injections in a year and a half. Bone density is very low.
Im 73 and in good health. Had tooth extraction recently and worried about healing. Im due to have another injection this week . Any advice on alternative medicine without tooth effects All the above side-effects have been bearable so i will continue with the Alendronate.
